Beyond Dog Training

Behaviour Architecture

Behaviour does not respond to one-size-fits-all methods. We look at the individual dog, understand what is influencing their behaviour, and build a clear training plan designed to create lasting change.

The Canine UK Framework

Audit

We identify what is influencing your dog’s behaviour, their environment and any potential risk factors.

Architect

We design a strategic training framework around your dog.

Implement

Practical skill building for both dog and owner.

Engineer

Reliable behaviour that holds up in the real world.

Behavioural audit

Every training journey starts with understanding.

Effective training begins with understanding the dog in front of us.

A comprehensive Behavioural Audit is the starting point for most Canine UK training journeys. We examine your dog’s behaviour in context, considering history, environment, temperament, established behavioural patterns and the challenges you are experiencing.

From this, we determine the most appropriate training, behaviour modification or rehabilitation pathway for both dog and owner.

We audit the whole picture.

Behaviour does not exist in isolation. We consider your dog’s history, environment, behavioural patterns, owner relationship and training goals to establish a clear picture of what is happening and why.

We define the strategy.

Our findings inform an individual strategy built around your dog, your circumstances and the outcomes that need to be achieved. No generic programmes. No predetermined methodology.

Then the work begins.

With a clear strategy established, training can begin with purpose. We work systematically towards meaningful, measurable change that translates into everyday life.

Where your training begins

A Behavioural Audit is the required first step for all Canine UK training and behavioural services. Exceptions apply to puppies under six months and our Predation & Chase Rehabilitation programme, which can be booked directly, subject to eligibility.

★★★★★

“Seeing Hugo calmly exist around distractions now honestly feels surreal. The communication and support throughout the process was incredible.”

★★★★★

“No false promises. No pretending our dog would become a social butterfly overnight. Just honest professional rehabilitation and huge progress.”

My dog was really struggling with extreme anxiety and was losing the ability to just be a dog. … Blaze stayed with them for 3 weeks and yes it was hard we missed him like crazy. When he came home to us he was a different dog so calm and just loving being a dog. He has a different life now and its all thanks to them.

★★★★★

When we contacted canine UK, we had a dog that was biting and resource guarding terribly. … He responds to commands. He sits when we ask him to. … now he is a happy well trained beautiful little cockapoo. We still have our moments, but it is very very rare … They have been with us all the way and I can't thank them both enough.
