Development Plus is designed specifically for adolescence, when increasing independence, distraction and excitement can begin to challenge previously established training. The programme focuses on building reliable recall, loose-lead walking, engagement, impulse control, everyday obedience and greater reliability around real-world distractions, while developing your handling skills as your dog matures.
The aim is to turn early foundations into dependable, practical behaviour that works in everyday life, while giving you the knowledge and confidence to continue progressing your dog beyond the programme.
What is included
Programme Structure
One 45-minute Zoom consultation
A dedicated one-to-one consultation to discuss your dog’s current training, development, lifestyle and the areas you’re finding most challenging. We’ll establish your priorities and create a clear focus for the practical training ahead.
Three 1-hour practical training sessions
Hands-on, one-to-one sessions focused on reliable recall, loose-lead walking, engagement, impulse control and everyday obedience in appropriate real-world environments.
WhatsApp support
Support throughout the programme for questions, training updates and guidance between your scheduled sessions, helping you apply the work consistently.

What age is the programme for?
Development Plus is designed for adolescent dogs aged between six and twelve months. Suitability is based on the individual dog as well as their age.
Does my dog need a Behavioural Audit first?
Yes. The Behavioural Audit allows us to understand your dog, identify priorities and make sure Development Plus is the right pathway before training begins.
Is this programme only for serious behaviour problems?
No. It is suitable for owners who need better reliability, clearer obedience or support through adolescence. More complex concerns will be assessed during the audit so we can recommend the right service.
Will the programme be tailored to my dog?
